About the Book

Juggernaut: A veiled record delves into the intricate journey of a young man torn between ambition, moral integrity, and the struggle for personal transformation. The narrative explores the complexity of human desires, as the protagonist grapples with his aspirations for success, love, and respect. Amidst the bustling environment of his editorial work, his outward cheerfulness contrasts with a deep inner conflict, setting the stage for a profound change in his life. The tension between external expectations and internal moral dilemmas drives the exploration of power and the consequences of unchecked ambition. As the protagonist navigates the dynamics of his community, the complexities of his character unfold, offering a study of the philosophical and ethical struggles that define his fate. The story reveals how the pursuit of success can lead to unforeseen and life-altering decisions, questioning the boundaries of personal responsibility and the impact of choices on one’s future. Through this internal and external conflict, the novel illustrates the precarious balance between desire and consequence, presenting a powerful commentary on the complexities of human ambition.

About Author

George Cary Eggleston And Dolores Marbourg

"George Cary Eggleston (26 November 1839 – 14 April 1911) was an American writer, best known for his contributions to post-Civil War literature. He was the brother of fellow writer Edward Eggleston (1837–1902) and the son of Joseph Cary Eggleston and Mary Jane Craig. After serving as a Confederate soldier during the American Civil War, he published a serialized account of his experiences in The Atlantic Monthly. These articles were later collected, expanded upon, and published under the title A Rebel's Recollections. He was involved in journalism as well, serving as the editor for Hearth and Home magazine in the early 1870s. His childhood home in Vevay, Indiana, known as the Edward and George Cary Eggleston House, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Dolores Marbourg is a less-known figure, and there isn't a significant amount of biographical information readily available. However, it appears that she was involved in writing or literary pursuits alongside her association with Eggleston. Given the historical context, it's likely that her works may have been overshadowed by more prominent figures of the time. Unfortunately, without more details, it’s challenging to provide an extensive biography of her."
