Her most famous works include Four Girls at Chautauqua, Tip Lewis and His Lamp, Julia Ried, and Ruth Erskine's Crosses. Alden’s novels often explored themes of faith, personal growth, and the importance of moral integrity, featuring strong, virtuous characters who overcame life's challenges through their Christian beliefs. Alden was also an advocate for women's empowerment and Christian education, inspiring generations of readers to live with purpose and compassion. She passed away on August 5, 1930, leaving a lasting legacy in Christian literature and educational fiction. Her sister, C. M.
